In January 2011, two Stanford roommates — a mathematician (Vlad Tenev) and a physicist (Baiju Bhatt) — founded Chronos Research in New York, selling low-latency trading software to Wall Street firms and banks. Two years later, the same two men founded Robinhood. Thirteen years after that, they gave the world a chain where stocks never sleep. $CHRONOS RESEARCH is an archive-grade tribute token that claims the deepest OG lore slot on Robinhood Chain — named after the literal origin of the whole story, documented with proofs (Wikipedia, Forbes, Robinhood Newsroom) directly on the site. The Tithe of Fees: every fee generated by this token is directed, in whole, to the two founders of Robinhood — the fee recipients are set to the wallets of Vlad Tenev (@vladtenev) and Baiju Bhatt (@BaijuBhatt), 50/50. A tribute paid backward through time, from the chain of 2026 to the two desks of 2011. We keep nothing. The archive pays its debts. The site is an interactive Archive Folio: break the wax seal to open it, six articles with sourced facts, founder dossiers, a signature register, a verification stamp desk, and a pocket watch that runs backward. Time only moves backward here.
